Something stole an hour.
Silenced a blackbird; opened
A door for Winter.
Something stole an hour.
Flicked a broken switch; opened
A bank for bandits.
Something stole an hour.
Caused laughter in Rome; opened
A beggar’s blind eye.

This is great. I love the tone of it and the evident discipline in putting the thing together. Can’t say I miss all that changing of the clocks.
Thanks, Jan. That is most appreciated. I still don’t understand the clock thing. Something to do with lighter mornings and schools. Are the UK the only country left doing this?
Welcome back.
